Android users across the UK and Europe will now have access to digital wallet provider, Curve‘s technology as the firm announces the launch of Curve Pay.
Looking to differentiate itself from the other digital wallets on the market, Curve Pay will enable users to track spending, stack rewards, receive real-time insights and move past purchases across accounts. Curve uses a versatile, personalised intelligence and consumer-led approach which aligns with the digital demands of British consumers today.
A 2024 study showed 68 per cent feel confident enough to leave their physical wallets at home, and over the next three years, digital wallet usage is expected to more than double at UK point-of-sale (POS). In Europe, nine out of 10 report having made some form of digital payment over the past year, and almost one-third (32 per cent) planned to rely exclusively on digital wallets. This growth has a knock-on effect on both banks and consumers.
With the European courts leaning on Apple to open its NFC last year, the market is primed for more competition in the digital payments’ space, and consumers are only set to benefit from the broader choice available to them.
Greater spending insights
With over six million customers and partnerships with major brands like Samsung and PayPal, Curve has established itself in the digital wallet space. Curve Pay is a natural next step as part of Curve’s ambitions for customer-centric innovation and growth.

“For too long, the payments landscape has endured limited choices – now with Curve Pay, we are refashioning opportunities for consumers,” said Shachar Bialick, founder and CEO of Curve. “Curve Pay is more than just a wallet; it’s a smarter way to manage money.
“It empowers users with unparalleled spending insights, avoids hidden foreign transaction fees from all linked cards, and offers innovative features like rewards stacking and our signature Go Back in Time — allowing customers to switch payments between cards even after they’ve made a purchase.
“This launch brings Android users unprecedented control over their finances, making spending more transparent, more efficient, and ultimately, more rewarding. We’re excited to offer a digital wallet that puts real financial power back in the hands of consumers.”
Curve Pay Card
Curve Pay offers the same traditional features as a traditional digital wallet, but it also offers consumers a greater understanding into their spending patterns. The digital wallet also comes with the Curve Pay Card — a physical companion that ensures consumers are always ready to pay, even when contactless options aren’t available. Unlike other wallets that rely solely on your phone, the Curve Pay Card connects directly to the Curve Wallet, offering the same seamless experience as the Curve Pay app.
Whether a consumer is shopping at a local market, online, travelling abroad, or using a merchant without contactless support, the Curve Pay Card provides consumers the flexibility to pay in a variety of ways. It also carries all the benefits of the digital wallet, including Killer FX, rewards stacking, and a detailed overview of transaction insights.
